Congratulations to all 31 members who came out for volleyball on Sunday, 20 Sept. A good time was had by all, warming up, learning some skills, playing a few games. And then, of course, eating at Hot Honey afterwards.
Remember, our next event is Softball in Edinburgh Gardens, 18 October at noon. More details to follow.
See you then!

White Out in July
Sporty Dykes is going to the snow in July as part of the White Out festival on Mt Buller. You'll have to arrange your own activities, housing and transport. BUT, Sporty Dykes will help out by paying the White Out registration fee for the first 10 members who email me at bnyugat@hotmail.com.
Check out White Out at: http://www.whiteout.net.au/Home.html

Basketball on June 21st
We have booked basketball court #3 at MSAC from 12:30-2:00 on Sunday, June 21st. Bring along a women's sized basketball, if you have one. Or if you really want to play with the oversized men's ball, go ahead...
All skill levels welcome, from beginner to advanced. We'll see what we've got on the day and set up a half-court game, or HORSE, or just some skill development building to something for the future. Whatever we do, laughter and fun will be at the centre of it all!!

Softball success leads to Frisbee fun
Softball was great fun for the 11 women who braved the wind and rain to throw and bat. Thank you everybody who made it! We were then joined at the pub by five more women, who at least could leave their houses in the stormy weather to support the players...
Next event: Frisbee in Fitzroy Gardens - bring a frisbee or two if you have them. 11 AM, Sunday 17 May. We'll meet up behind the Conservatory, the marble statue side not the topless Diana side. Unless it's raining, in which case we'll head right to the Pavilion restaurant and play once it's stopped actively falling.
